What We Need:

To facilitate and accelerate the growth that NRC is experiencing, we are seeking a Business Development Manager who can create new opportunities and is experienced in selling environmental services.

The successful candidate will be a proven hunter responsible for managing the entire sales process from lead generation, qualification and presentation to contract negotiation and closure.  Working with internal resources and tools you will be an important part of the team effort to grow the existing client base.

 What You'll Do:
  • Drive new opportunities and build qualified pipeline to hit annual target
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, becoming a trusted advisor and building strategic partnerships throughout customer organizations
  • Understand client business drivers and work collaboratively to craft solutions that deliver demonstrable value to customer organizations
  • Deliver increases in recurring revenue by signing multi-year agreements
  • Continuously update CRM database and provide weekly performance reports to ensure accurate forecast
  • Work with the internal NRC cross functional team to develop and deliver superior, profitable, winning proposals
  • Add incremental sales revenue and work to renew existing contracts
  • Provide market feedback and act as the "voice of the customer" internally
What You'll Need:
  • Five or more years of direct experience selling environmental services including marine, emergency response, industrial services, remediation and waste management
  • Demonstrated track record as an independent, top performing hunter and closer who exceeds revenue goals
  • Passion and ability to work collaboratively with clients and internal teams to deliver world-class solutions
  • Self-starter who can work independently and has a strong work ethic
  • Possess a positive attitude, be coachable, insightful, energetic and a great problem solver
  • BA/BS Degree is preferred
  • Ability to obtain Transportation Work Identification Credential (TWIC for access to all port and shipping facilities is required
