Integral Consulting Inc. ( is an international science and engineering firm providing multidisciplinary services in the fields of environmental science and engineering, health, ecology, aquatic sciences, geology and hydrology, atmospheric science, and environmental chemistry. We are currently seeking a Toxicologist for our Annapolis, MD; Fayetteville, NY; Portland, ME; or San Antonio, TX office.


Candidate must hold an M.S. or Ph.D. in Toxicology, Public Health, Epidemiology, or a related field. The candidate will have 0-3 years of experience and strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of and experience in dose-response analysis, regulatory toxicology, and/or human health risk assessment is preferred.


The ideal candidate will demonstrate an excellent academic and research record and an interest in understanding the role of toxicology in risk assessment and risk communication associated with chemicals in the environment. Experience with computational toxicology, systematic review, adverse outcome pathways, or statistics are assets. 


In addition, the ideal candidate will be able to:

  • Synthesize findings from experimental and computational approaches to assess biological mechanisms underlying dose-response that can be related to potential human health endpoints of concern. 
  • Apply novel approaches in exposure assessment, including metabolomics and other omics techniques, to identify early effect biomarkers associated with chemical exposures.
  • Use results from biomonitoring studies to inform public health, regulatory, and litigation decisions.
